The story of Aleksandar Zabunovic started some two hundred years ago in the eastern part of Serbia where his grand-grandfather imported the very first sewing machine to the region. He soon became one of the most famous tailors and employed over twenty apprentices - a number to be respected even in those early days. The turmoil of the Balkan region in the last two centuries changed everything – also the fashion industry - but heritage and tradition survive. After two centuries of sewing tradition in his family, the young designer returned to his family roots and decided to continue the forgotten tradition.
